When we lived in La Paz, Mexico we owned and operated Casa Tuscany bed and breakfast. I painted in the courtyard and had a host of admirers. Hummingbirds, Picasso perched close, Cappuccino perched on the coffee stand, and Ivan the terrible tried to have exclusive viewings, to name a few. In this work, I have drawn on my memory to capture the energy and movement of these splendid little creatures.
