The first painting in my Elemental Meeting series; depicting the interaction with water encroaching in fire.  I brought the canvas unfinished to Santa Fe, New Mexico and finished the painting here.  This painting inspired a California Forest Service,  Fire Chief to order two original commissions for retiring forest service chiefs.
